Taliena Howden, RMT, originally from Ontario moved to PEI in 2017
with her family to enjoy a slower pace of life. She is passionate
about education, body mechanics, and pathophysiology. She is a
certified yoga instructor since 2009 who teaches Hatha, Vinyassa,
and Thai Restorative yoga. Since 2010, Taliena has practiced and
taught Thai Massage and Thai Reflexology in Ontaio, Nova Scotia, PEI,
California and Costa Rica.
Returning to school in 2019, Taliena graduated as a RMT with
honours from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy
Halifax(CCMH) in 2021. At CCMH she focused on treating invisible
illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, anxiety, depression, as well as arthictic
conditions, neurological conditions, sports massage, and spa therapies.
Since graduating in 2021, Taliena has continued deepening her training
by adding Gua Sha, Hot & Cold stone Massage, Althetic Taping, and
Advanced Sports Massage. She currently holds membership with the
NHPC(2011), CMTPEI(2022), CSMTA(SC)(2019), and is certified in first
aid, CPR/AED.
